Powerful Illumination for Tactical and Long-Range Use
The Imalent SR16 utilizes 16 American CREE XHP50.3 HI LEDs, delivering a maximum output of 55,000 lumens with a beam throw of 1715m and a peak intensity of 736,000 candela. It features seven brightness modes, including Moonlight, Turbo, and Strobe, accessible via a side switch or a handle-mounted switch:
- Turbo: Brightest setting for maximum visibility.
- High: Strong illumination for extended range.
- Middle II: Balanced output for sustained use.
- Middle I: Moderate brightness for general tasks.
- Middle Low: Lower output for longer runtime.
- Low: Energy-saving mode for prolonged use.
- Moonlight: Minimal light for extended runtime.
- Strobe: Disorienting flash for emergencies.
The runtimes with the built-in 4x 21700 16000mAh battery pack are as follows:
- Turbo (55,000 lumens): 42 seconds, drops to 11,000 lumens for 50 minutes
- High (23,000 lumens): 3 minutes, drops to 11,000 lumens for 48 minutes
- Middle II (11,000 lumens): 52 minutes
- Middle I (4200 lumens): 2 hours
- Middle Low (2800 lumens): 3 hours
- Low (1200 lumens): 7 hours
- Moonlight (50 lumens): 98 hours
- Strobe (55,000 lumens): Not specified (typically similar to Turbo runtime)
Powered by a built-in 4x 21700 16000mAh lithium-ion battery pack, it features a magnetic USB charging system (cable included), taking approximately 2 hours to fully charge. The flashlight is IP56 water-resistant and impact-resistant to 0.5m, ensuring reliability in wet or rough conditions, though its 1130g weight with battery may feel heavy for handheld use without the handle.
Durable and Compact Design
Constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy with a Type III hard-anodized black finish, the Imalent SR16 ensures durability and resistance to wear in rugged outdoor conditions. It measures 158mm in length, with a 109mm head diameter and 56mm body diameter, weighing 1130g with the battery. The flashlight features a toughened ultra-clear mineral glass lens with an anti-reflective coating and an aluminum SMO reflector for optimal beam performance. It includes built-in cooling fans and a thermal control module to manage heat, though the fans can be audible on higher modes, and the light may get hot (up to 65°C) during extended use.
Designed for Tactical and Outdoor Use
The Imalent SR16 is tailored for law enforcement, survivalists, and outdoor enthusiasts needing extreme long-range illumination for search-and-rescue, hunting, or emergency scenarios. Its 55,000-lumen Turbo mode with a 1715m throw can illuminate objects over a mile away, while the 50-lumen Moonlight mode provides up to 98 hours of runtime. The light’s seven brightness modes offer versatility, and its IP56 rating ensures reliability in wet or dusty conditions.
