Artemis Snowpeak Wadcutter Pellets for Airguns 5.5mm (250 PCS) are non-spherical projectiles designed for air guns. Unlike bullets and shot used in firearms, air gun pellets operate at much lower pressures, typically as low as 50 atmospheres, compared to thousands of atmospheres in firearms. Airguns use slightly undersized projectiles that obturate upon shooting to seal the bore and engage the rifling. In contrast, firearms use slightly oversized bullets to fit the bore tightly. These pellets can be shot through a smoothbore barrel and are designed to be inherently stable, similar to Foster slugs used in smoothbore shotguns.
