Introducing the newest edition to the Johan Marais range of snake tongs – the JM Snake Handler Tong, designed with the serious snake remover in mind. Shorter than our 1 m tongs, it allows for comfortable handling.
Based on our best-selling PRO series, the JM tongs feature important modifications that have been tried and tested. The upper jaw has been extended so that the overbite reaches 3.4 cm, significantly improving functionality compared to the typical 1.5 cm overbite found in most snake tongs, especially cheaper imports.
The gap between the upper and lower jaw parts when closed is reduced to 1-2 mm, ensuring the sections nearly touch. This prevents pinching and facilitates the capture of smaller snakes. Additionally, a double crimp has been added to the steel cable for enhanced durability.
These tongs are durable and of very good quality, backed by a guarantee. Available in orange or red.
