Each interview consists of 18 questions exploring the lives, jobs, and activities of the interviewees, both past and present. The questions delve into their studies, the origins of their enthusiasm for herpetology, the challenges they have faced, and much more. The interviews aim to share field trip experiences, offer advice to aspiring herpetologists, and reveal the interviewees’ perspectives on herpetology and herpetoculture.
The second part of each interview is personalized, with a varying number of questions designed to explore the interviewees’ studies and lives in detail. These questions tap into their knowledge and experience to clarify aspects of herpetology that often raise questions among young researchers. The questions are crafted based on the herpetologists’ curricula vitae, published works, and discoveries.
