Introducing the V3.0 Lens On GDome Dome Housing for the GoPro Hero 6 / 5 Black, depth rated to 130 Feet / 40m. This Professional Dome System (PDS) allows you to keep the lens on the Hero 7 | 6 | 5 Black and simply place it in our dive housing. Developed over two years, it offers industry-leading optics in an affordable and easy-to-use package.
With this Dome Housing, capturing elusive under-over shots, also known as 50/50 or split shots, has never been easier. The GDome Housing features a 160mm Dome, which pushes the waterline away from the lens, creating a space that allows for effortless capture of the waterline split.
Utilizing your GoPro’s near-infinite depth of field and wide-angle lens, achieving high-quality video and stills is remarkably easier compared to complex $2000 DSLR setups. This spacing improves water shots above the surface, as spray or drops become minor dots in the field of view. The gap between the lens and dome moves water particles further away, resulting in cleaner underwater images and an improved field of view.
The GDome system employs unique O-Ring compression seals between the Dome and BackPlate and around the camera lens, with no silicone or glue used. Each H6/5 Lens On Dome is pressure tested to 5 Bar (40 meters / 133 Feet) before leaving the factory, ensuring no leaks.
Enjoy sharper, cleaner GoPro images at depths other domes can’t reach! The PDS is made of completely detachable parts, allowing for easy servicing, spare parts, and upgrades.
