The SPUHR R-7602 Remington 700 SA Scope Base 6MIL Extended is an extended Picatinny Gen2 scope base designed for the Remington 700 Short Action. This high-quality, dehorned scope mount base is built on a decade of experience in designing and manufacturing the original Ideal Scope Mount System, including a vast number of accessories, forends, and stock assemblies for various firearms.
Our Next Generation Picatinny Rail Scope Bases feature properly dehorned edges for improved repeatability and a smooth touch. Constructed from 7075 T651 aluminum, this base combines strength and durability with low weight. The rail comes with 6-48×1/4” Torx 10-screws and stainless steel pins for optional pinning of the scope base to the action. It is suitable for both right and left-handed actions.

Note: This scope base will not fit rifles threaded for 8-40 scope base screws, such as the Bergara Premier Series and the Remington 700 Police 5R. Height is measured from the top of the front vault of the action to the top of the Picatinny. Recommended torque for Torx 10 screws is 15-18 in/lbs.
