The Vortex Optics 4-12×40 Diamondback Tactical Riflescope is a versatile riflescope featuring durable construction and high-quality optics. It includes a zoom eyepiece and the Vortex-exclusive VMR-1 reticle, which lies in the second focal plane and offers a modified duplex style. The markings on the horizontal and lower-vertical axes aid in ranging, ballistic, and wind compensation.
The optical system produces crisp and clear images with accurate color representation by utilizing Extra-Low Dispersion (XD) glass and Vortex’s proprietary XR optical coatings. The XD glass corrects color and image distortions on the periphery of the field of view, while the anti-reflective XR coatings increase light transmission and reduce glare.
