The STRIBOG SR9 A2 carbine, chambered in 9×19, is a direct successor of successful A1 series, which is still in production. The main difference is usage of a polymer frame for lower receiver in order to achieve lower weight as well as excellent ergonomics. Fully ambidextrous controls remain intact. Self-loading function of the firearm is performed via dynamic bolt with blowback action. Overall behaviour of the gun during shooting is achieved through a system of bolt brake mechanism, that also transfers to increased accuracy and speed of follow-up shots. The carbine is equipped with a foldable stock, lockable in both positions, that can be replaced by AR-type stock adaptor for utilization of aftermarket AR-type stocks. The upper receiver of a handgun provides sufficient space for accessories, two picatinny rails as well as two key-mod attachments will allow for red dot sights with magnifier, tactical light or laser. The STRIBOG is equipped by folding backup sights right out of the box.
