Please note: All steel plates are limited stock items. New orders can take up to 4 weeks due to supplier material shortages or union issues. A minimum shooting distance of 7m is required for pistol calibers, and 20m is recommended for rifle calibers. Ensure plates are 3m to 5m from a back wall at your range.
The TATAMi Stand system, developed over 3 years, is the quickest and easiest way to set up your range for steel shooting fun. There are three stand options:
- TATAMI Spike: Features different length uprights for adjustable setup and target height. Requires a hammer to drive the spike into the ground.
- TATAMI AG Stand: A flatpack design that sets up on any flat surface in under 30 seconds without a hammer.
- CROW Spike Stand: A great starter stand. Requires a hammer to drive the spike into the ground.
TATAMI Spike Setup: Uses a spike made from AR500 steel, driven into the ground with a hammer. Choose from four upright lengths: 40, 60, 80, and 100cm. Secondary plates can be added with an arm link plate mount.
TATAMI AG Stand: A flatpack stand design for quick setups on hard or wet surfaces. Assembles in seconds with interlocking AR500 steel panels. Requires an upright to hang plates.
CROW Spike Stand: A solid one-piece 8mm thick spike stand made from AR500 steel. Accepts plates at the top or with an extra plate mount for lower hanging.
Plates are laser cut from AR500 steel, tested to withstand .223 rounds at 48m. Turn plates every 1500 rounds to prevent panning. We recommend 8mm for handguns up to .357mag and 10mm for larger calibers. Custom-sized plates need special ordering via email.
Order a plate, a stand, and any extras needed. Extra mounts or stands can be ordered separately. The TATAMi spike ships with a link plate for uprights. Order a stand system with at least one upright to start, and add extra uprights later.
Plates come with a high tensile strength steel bolt, shock absorber, and metal mount that slots into the upright stand system. Shipping may incur extra charges due to plate weight.
