Guidelines for care and maintenance:
- A wooden board is the preferred cutting surface to keep your blade sharper longer.
- Like all fine knives, do not put it in a dishwasher.
- Wash with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry.
- Do not store your knife in a leather sheath, as it may lead to corrosion of the blade.
- After sharpening your knife, hone on a leather strop loaded with buffing wax for razor sharpness.
Do not subject the knife to excessive heat, direct flame, acidic or caustic solutions, or submersion in liquid. The same applies to the sheath of the blade.
