Description
The Powertac Cadet 1200LM 240m Tactical EDC Flashlight is a subcompact tactical light designed for everyday carry, ideal for camping, hiking, and tactical use. Its 1200-lumen output with a 240m throw can illuminate a trail during a night hike, ensuring visibility in low-light conditions. With magnetic charging and a bidirectional clip, it offers versatile functionality. Featuring a lifetime warranty, this flashlight suits law enforcement, hunters, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Powerful Illumination for Tactical and EDC Use
The flashlight delivers a maximum output of 1200 lumens using a Cree LED, with a beam throw of 240m and a peak intensity of 14,400 candela. It offers six brightness modes with the following runtimes using the included RCR123A battery:
- Turbo: 1200 lumens, 40 minutes
- High: 600 lumens, 45 minutes
- Medium: 140 lumens, 3.27 hours
- Low: 19 lumens, 9.69 hours
- Firefly: 0.4 lumens, 4.5 days
- Strobe: 1200 lumens, 1 hour
Powered by a single RCR123A (16340) rechargeable lithium-ion battery (included), it features a magnetic charging system for easy recharging, with a charging indicator that changes from red to blue when complete. The flashlight can also use a CR123A battery, though Turbo and Strobe modes are not available with this battery type, and runtimes adjust accordingly (e.g., High at 450 lumens for 1.93 hours). It is IPX7 waterproof (submersible to 1.5m) and impact-resistant to 1m, ensuring reliability in harsh conditions. Its compact size (90.8mm long) makes it ideal for pocket carry.
Durable and Compact Design
Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy with a Type III hard-anodized finish, the flashlight ensures durability and resistance to wear in rugged outdoor conditions. It measures 90.8mm in length, with a 25.4mm bezel diameter and 22.56mm body diameter, weighing 60g without the battery. The flashlight features a tempered glass lens with a double-coated design for maximum light output, and a precision O-ring sealed design for IPX7 waterproofing, protecting against submersion up to 1.5m. Its bidirectional clip allows for deep pocket carry or attachment to a hat brim for hands-free use, and the dual-switch interface (tail switch for on/off, side switch for modes) ensures easy operation. The flashlight can be used while charging, though some users note the magnetic charging port can attract debris, requiring occasional cleaning.
Designed for Outdoor and Tactical Use
Tailored for law enforcement, hunters, and outdoor enthusiasts needing reliable illumination for activities like camping, hiking, or tactical operations. Its 1200-lumen Turbo mode can light up a campsite, while the Firefly mode (0.4 lumens) provides up to 4.5 days of runtime for extended use during emergencies. The flashlight’s compact size and high output make it ideal for mounting on a personal defense weapon (PDW) or carrying in a pocket, and its instant strobe feature (accessible via the side switch) is useful for self-defense or signaling. Its IPX7 waterproof rating ensures reliability in wet conditions, and the auto-memorization feature recalls the last used brightness setting for convenience.
