Description
ASI Fly Fisherman’s Snake Gaiters are proudly made in South Africa. These flexible snake gaiters weigh 265 grams each. The outer shell is crafted from Authentic 500D Cordura® with a double acrylic coating, making it water-resistant and calendered for softer handling. The inner shell consists of two layers of DuPont™ Kevlar® microfilament yarn, a finely woven material offering exceptional protection against fragmentation with anti-stab capability. These layers are stitched into an inner casing of high-tenacity nylon (parachute material).
The gaiters are one size fits all, featuring a YKK® zip at the back. Each gaiter is adjustable and includes a loop for a shoelace on the underside to keep them secure while walking.
These gaiters have been tested against bites from the Puff Adder, Cape Cobra, Snouted Cobra, and Black Mamba, with no penetration during testing.
