ASI Geo Lightweight Snake Gaiters are proudly made in South Africa. These flexible snake gaiters weigh 310 grams each. The outer shell is crafted from Authentic 500D Cordura® with a double-acrylic coating, providing water resistance and a softer handling feel. The inner shell consists of two layers of DuPont™ (Kevlar® microfilament yarn), a finely woven material offering exceptional protection against fragmentation and anti-stab capability. These layers are stitched into an inner casing of high-tenacity nylon (parachute material).
The gaiters are one size fits all, featuring a YKK® zip at the back. They are adjustable and include a loop for a shoelace on the underside, along with an adjustable strap that secures them under the shoe or boot. Two high-visibility reflective strips are included, ideal for clients working on-site.
The Lightweight Geo Snake Gaiters have been tested against bites from the Puff Adder, Cape Cobra, Snouted Cobra, and Black Mamba, with no penetration during testing.
