S.W. Silver & Co. Recoil Pads enhance the stock of even the best guns. They are supplied in two sizes, No.3 and No.4, to cover all types of shotguns or rifles. The No.3 pad is more commonly used for shotgun applications, while the No.4, with its top nib, tends to be the most popular for rifles. Either pad is perfectly satisfactory for either application, leaving it as a matter of personal choice. Both pads are suitable for all applications and working conditions, including leather covering, being both durable and climatically stable. A high standard of finish is obtained by using white spirit or lamp paraffin with wet and dry polishing, followed by a coating of varnish.
